150 clients enjoyed a fascinating talk by Professor Knottenbelt of Liverpool University on Monday 28th March 2011 at The Old Hall, Brooksby College. Professor Knottenbelt gave two lively lectures on 'Sarcoids and their effect on horses' and 'Why do horses headshake' . Both lectures were illustrated with pictures and video clips. The Professor was on hand afterwards to answer individual questions. A collection was taken at the end of the evening and £205 was raised for SPANA http://www.spana.org/projects/countries/ - the Society for the Protection of Animals Abroad. |
